Reject unapproved name PDP caution INEC

In an announcement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan on Friday in Abuja, said that PDP had formally submitted names of possibility for National Assembly races to the NEC in front of the 2019 general decisions.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cautioned against accommodation of unapproved names of contender to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In an announcement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan on Friday in Abuja, said that PDP had formally submitted names of contender for National Assembly races to the NEC in front of the 2019 general races.

Ologbondiyan said that the gathering noted with abhor moves by specific people to unlawfully submit unapproved names from some indicated primaries by dissenter components, eminently in Ogun state.


"The PDP knows that such components fashioned and sold different phony selection frames, and cornered the returns for their egotistical increases. 

"The individuals who accidentally purchased these phony designation frames did not go through the fair treatment of screening and did not partake in primaries as authoritatively directed by the Electoral Committee set up by the National Working Committee. 

"The lead of primaries and accommodation of names of competitor stay in the domain of the National Working Committee. 

"Some other implied primaries by any state section or some other level of the gathering is completely illicit and of no result.

 Kola encouraged all PDP individuals and people in general to be quiet as the control of law would be clung to, especially in all procedures of the 2019 general election mostly the presidential election.
